Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The daemon is unaware of Power Manager dimming the screen and can set the brightness high again. No idea how to get dimmed state yet. One solution may be just to suspend any changes after a certain idle time (and e.g. media players should inhibit idle state anyway).
